Implant surgery may be performed as an outpatient under general anesthesia, oral conscious sedation, nitrous oxide sedation, intravenous sedation or under local anesthesia by trained, skilled and certified clinicians including general dentists, endodontists, oral surgeons, periodontists, and prosthodontists.
